The Student

Current Name: Mitsuko Kougetsu
Meaning: Mitsuko - Child of Light. Kougetsu - Moonlight. The name was chosen to resemble her old name, as well as what she stood for. Originally she would have used a name which meant something in relation to the word "Sorrow" but to be more practical, she chose this name. If one where to refrase it in a longer term, it would mean "Child of Moonlight."
Nickname: None at the moment.
Nationality: Japanese
Alliance: Immen Senshi
Gender: Female
Age: Appears to be 18. However, her original age is unknown.
Birthday: July 1st (Fake birthdate), while her original birthdate is June 30th.
Astrological Sign: Cancer

Physical Description: Mitsuko is probably one of the few who would resemble the queen the most out of the academy student’s. Silver hair that was let down from her previous Odango-like buns was let down in a wavy fashion for disguising purposes. Her hair of course, reaches up to her ankles while her bangs are in the classic layered style with the center of her bangs being formed in a somewhat “heart-shaped” figure.

While her hair may have not changed as much as it should have, her face is completely covered in makeup to make her seem “younger”. However, there is one part of her face that just by the feel of it you can tell that she has makeup, and that’s the center of her forehead where her crescent marking is buried in the ton of makeup on which she puts on almost every morning (you can automatically tell that she has over done the makeup deal). If one where to catch her first thing in the morning without her makeup, they would be able to see a small piece of the crescent moon and black outliner of it due to the fact that the makeup would have rubbed on her pillows while sleeping. Another facial feature that has seemed to change is her eyes on which she had used contacts to change her sapphire blue eyes to dark blue. Of course, it may not seem much of a difference to those who know the woman, but she finds it more fitting.

On her back, there is a large scar that reaches from the starting point of her shoulders down to her thigh, and it’s located in the center of her back. This scar unfortunately also shows when she’s in senshi form, and she’s lucky enough to be able to hide it under her rather thick silver hair. And to make note, her back is currently the most sensitive part of her body. Touching her back, especially the center, would make her feel pain automatically, no matter how light or hard you touch it. Apparently from the battle and being bedridden in the hospital, her back was one of the many things that took time to heal, and she didn't want to sit and wait for it to be healed.

Currently, Mitsuko stands at the height of 5’5”. Of course it may be short, but to her it made a big difference than when she was a teenager standing at the height of 4’11”. When Mitsuko isn’t in her school uniform, she is usually seen wearing jeans, and tank top shirts, and sometimes the latest fashion on Immen. Also, when she isn’t wearing her uniform, she is seen wearing two necklaces. One on which she wears at all times which contains the Ginzuishou hung as a pendant, while the other being a semi-broken medallion that previously belonged to Mamoru (note: if one where to ask where she got the medallion, she would automatically claim that she bought it at a shop and it was made to be a replica of the original, when clearly, it is the original). Of course, the medallion is usually seen hanging from one of her pant pockets, but most of the time it’s hanging around her neck lying next to the Ginzuishou pendant like necklace.

Strength:
Advice Giving: After having raised Chibiusa, and after having had lived for over a thousand years, Mitsuko’s advice giving has become much, much better. She’s often able to give out good advice no matter what the situation, but often if put into a slump, she won’t have any advice to give.
Dancing: Yes, yes. She can dance now. Which means if you ask her to dance, she’d love to. Of course, you’d have to thank Haruka, Mamoru, and her dance teacher for teaching her this little skill. But of course, it took well over fifty years to teach her, so this means she’s still a little rusty. But of course, ballroom dancing is definitely something on which she isn’t rusty at.
Helping Hand: Often at times, you’d definitely see her helping another in need. But of course, sometimes she won’t lend a helping hand if she’s currently tied up with something else.
Motherly-love: Even as weird as it sounds, Mitsuko loves children. And frantically, most of the children she meets seem to love her. She has the ability to calm a child, no matter how noisy they are. Of course, this still doesn’t mean that she isn’t strict around little children. Like when she was taking care of Chibiusa when she was young, she believed that if you fall, it’s up to you to get back up no matter how hurt you are. Of course, if proven to have a “major” injury, such as a broken bone, she’ll lend her helping hand to help the child up.
Guidance: Sometimes in battle, you’d often see her giving some words of advice to younger and newer Senshi or Avatar. Of course, she doesn’t want to sound bossy or act like a know-it-all, but she does this to help the newer trainees to lead them into the right path.
Sleeping: She loves to sleep. Sleep, sleep, and more sleep! Once she falls to sleep, there’s no doubt about it that she won’t wake up until she wants to wake up. But unfortunately, the more sleep she needs, the more late she’ll appear for her next class. And getting her up on time is definitely not a pretty sight, even for the Queen she once was.

Weaknesses:
Needles: Nothing, and I mean nothing, can make Mitsuko have a needle put into her skin. Even if it’s for her own sake, she won’t allow it. When she was bedridden and was forced to have a needle put through her skin, she put up a huge fit that it was hard enough to believe that this woman was once the Queen of Crystal Tokyo.
Ghosts: Another big weakness, even as an adult, Mitsuko can’t stand ghosts. Make her watch a movie with ghosts in it, and she’ll try to find the best excuse possible that would allow her to not watch the movie. She’ll also freak out terribly if you even bother to tell her a ghost story, which means that she’ll sometimes try and sneak out of the room as quickly as possible before the storyteller finishes a certain scene.
Her Scar: Her scar is considered one of her most ultimate weaknesses. Touch her where her scar is located, and it’s the end for you. She’ll automatically feel the pain on where you even just simply touched the center of her back. Sometimes, she’ll even attack the person on which touched her back. So if you know what’s good for you, don’t touch her back if you don't want to see her fiery range, and a ton of crying afterwards.
Endymion and Chibiusa: Just the mention of both of there names makes her break down into tears half the time. So basically, the best way to make her cry would be to mention their names half the time if they're stated in a conversation. And there's one little thing that many are going to probably notice is that she still thinks that they're both out there somewhere, waiting for the right time to come back even if many think that they're dead when in reality they could be. Heck, the main reason on why she still fights today is because she wants to find them again.
Neo-Queen Selenity: Just by mentioning that old name of hers, makes her automatically jump to respond to it. It became a force of habit to actually respond to this name, as no matter what the conversation is, she’ll automatically respond with a “Yes?” or a “What is it?” to actually figure out what’s going on and why her old name was mentioned. Of course, if she responds to someone if they use her old name, she can often think of an excuse to keep herself from being found out. But if she responds to that name too many times, her excuses become limited, and she often asks one of the Legendaries to actually help her out if one of them is around.
The Ginzuishou (Geneizuishou): Just one simple crack of the Ginzuishou can cause her death. Thus, this makes the Ginzuishou her ultimate weakness other than her scar being second. Even if the Ginzuishou has one little crack, she can automatically feel weakened, and sometimes depending on her current condition, it could lead to death. Also, if the Ginzuishou ever gets into the hands of evil and is tainted, she can automatically feel what is happening to the Ginzuishou, and often, responds to the current situation as well, which means that she will turn evil along with the Ginzuishou. If one where to want to examine the Ginzuishou, she will not let them as she trusts absolutely NO ONE with the Ginzuishou unless it's one of the legendaries who she trusts even with her own life.
Swimming: She’s afraid of getting into the water and swim around with people around her. Even though she can swim, she’s worried that the makeup on her face would wash off, and show her true face. So basically, it’s in a rare occasion that she would actually be swimming unless she isn’t in Senshi form. If she is asked to swim, she’d automatically say “I can’t swim” to get out of it and add in some information of her past to help her better with the excuse, and if forced, she’ll put up a big fight as well.

Secrets: The name “Mitsuko Kougetsu” was not her original name, and that her past form was originally that of Neo-Queen Selenity, who is currently in hiding. She also has a rather large scar on her back on which she considers a symbol of her pain, and all the victories on which she has had in the past. She will also not let anyone see her without her clothes being on, or at least a shirt, as she doesn’t want anyone to see her scar.
Seiyuu: Kotono Mitsuishi (Jap) Stephanie Beard (English Dub)
Goals:
- To be able to return to the Earth and no longer have to live in hiding.
- To defeat Queen Ananri at all costs, even if it means death.
- To make it through the Academy, and to show that her previous training was worth all the work and effort.
- To be reunited with her beloved ones. Especially Endymion and Chibiusa.

Personality:
Mitsuko is probably one of the nicest people you’d ever meet. She gets along with just about anyone, and cares about almost anyone. If a friend is in trouble, she’d automatically jump out of her seat and run to help them even if it means putting her own life on the line. She has also in the past been known to sacrifice her own life to save the life of another, no matter what the stakes are she will see to it that all of her acquaintances are safe even if they are an enemy.

If one where to look in the eyes of this young woman, one would also take note that they show the eyes of sorrow and many battles having been fought in the past. And even just by looking at her eyes, one could automatically tell the kind of person on which Mitsuko is.

Now if you where to consider Mitsuko your typical teenage girl, guess again! Mitsuko acts more like an adult than she does as a teenager considering the fact that she had been Queen of Crystal Tokyo for more than a thousand years, and her childlike actions had often changed over the years. She is no longer a “klutz, ditz, hyperactive crybaby” as she used to be back when she was a little kid known as Tsukino, Usagi.

Nowadays, Mitsuko shows grace that’s almost considered to be higher than your typical model. Of course, even though Mitsuko isn’t a model, she still tends to “flunk out” sometimes, but most of the time if she does do such a thing it was either an act, or she did it by accident. However, even though she acts with grace and elegance, she’ll automatically find a way to ruin it in the end to not give off suspicion.

In class, the teachers probably would have the hardest time to keep this girl awake if one where not to pay close attention to what she’s doing. She’s been known to put a book over the top of her head and just “zone out” right in the middle of a class if she finds the class boring. So if you’re a math or English teacher, expect that to happen because even though she’s been living for longer than a thousand years she’s still got that old habit with her still.

In battle, as above, Mitsuko would sacrifice her life for another even if it’s an enemy. She believes that no one, not even the most evil person in the world should be treated the way they are even if it’s just an act. So unfortunately, Mitsuko is pretty naďve even with all the experience in battling she has had.

The Senshi

Senshi Name: Sailor Ma’at
Realm of Influence: Truth, Justice, Moon, and Purity
Astral Color: Ice Pink
Text Color: Medium Violet Red
Symbol: A silver hieroglyphic symbol of the moon. (
View Image)

Fuku Description: Working on it. >.<;

Transformation Phrase & Sequence: Shouting out the words “Ma’at Crescent Power, Make-Up!” Mitsuko would then take hold of a crescent moon discuss, and throwing it towards her right like a boomerang. In a quick speed, the crescent moon discuss would then return to her as it’d stop at her feet. Slowly, it would go upwards until it reaches her head as her whole body is enclosed in a white light. Soon after, the discuss would then begin to move downward in a slow motion, while it’d soon reveal her in her Senshi uniform. When the light is finally gone, the discuss would then move up to her right left hand, while she’d form a “V” sign with her right hand.

Attacks:
{Shining Crescent} Shining Crescent is one of Mitsuko’s “Fake Attacks”. Holding up a silver crescent moon, she slowly turns her body around clockwise. When releasing the crescent, she’d shout out the words “Shining Crescent!” which releases the Crescent Moon, and unleashes a powerful wave of white light that comes from the tips of the Crescent Moon. Each time a wave of light is unleashed from the tips of the crescent, the crescent would continue to get closer to the enemy. Once it reaches the enemy, it expands into a larger size, and then grips tightly to the enemies waste. The two tips of the Crescent Moon then connect with one another, and slowly begin to tighten up the enemies waste, making it hard to move around. This attack will not be released until Mitsuko gives off an okay for it to be released.

Items:
{Crescent Moon Discuss} She uses the Crescent Moon to activate her attack “Shining Crescent”. The Crescent Moon is also used as her Henshin Item, but used differently. The crescent moon a golden color with a small silver crystal in the center of the discuss. The crystal on which is supposedly inside the discuss, is also the Ginzuishou. Of course, it's a bit smaller in size, but towards others who don't exactly know the discuss nor the Ginzuishou well, it will appear to be a completely different stone.

{The Geneizuishou} Previously known as the Ginzuishou, but with a new name on which means “Phantom Crystal”. The stone itself still has the same powers as it did before, but it now appears to have little to nothing of energy after the battle against Queen Ananri. Now, Mitsuko wouldn’t dare use the power of the Geneizuishou as the little power left is used to help her live. There aren’t very big changes to the Ginzuishou’s appearance either, but now it just appears as a very small silver stone which is the size of probably ones own index finger. When transformed, the stone also appears on her crescent moon discuss, but when de-transformed it appears around her neck as a pendant necklace.

The History

Since the battle against Queen Ananri, it was said that the great Queen had fallen, and died. However, that wasn’t the case as Neo-Queen Selenity is still alive today. But of course, some parts of that little rumor is still true. Neo-Queen Selenity may not be “alive” and able to show her true appearance, but she had chosen to go on in hiding and start a new life. She’s still the same person she had ever been, but there are still changes.

When she battled against Queen Ananri and her Ausars, she had lost the people closest to her. King Endymion and Chibiusa. But she knew that even though they might have never been found, that they where still out there somewhere. Thus, in order to end the current battle, Neo-Queen Selenity had chosen to use the power of the Ginzuishou, and the enemy had fled.

After having used the power of the Ginzuishou however, the queen had fallen unconscious. The only thing left from having used it’s power was the a rather large scar on her back that was caused by one of the Ausars. This scar however, also can be considered one of the few things which could give away her identity immediately for those who have been in the Battle of Oblivion. Thus, because of this while at the Academy, she chooses to never allow anyone to see her without clothes on, or something that would cover her back entirely.

When she was transported to the hospital in Ammon City along with the other senshi, the queen had been in a dormant state for at least two to three days from having used the powers of the Ginzuishou. It wasn’t until the third day that the Ginzuishou had actually regained it’s full strength after having used half of it to battle against Queen Ananri. When the Ginzuishou gained it’s full strength, this was the time on which the queen had actually awakened once more.

When she had awakened, all she had on her mind was Endymion and Chibiusa after having realized that they hadn’t been there. Each time she had fallen asleep for the next week since she had actually awakened, she had often woken up from screaming their names out and reoccurring memories of the battle on which she had fought. And because of this, it was found that she had often blamed herself for their loss.

As days passed, the queen had began to feel depression. Often at times it having been caused from their loss. However, she hid this from everyone. The act of her being depressed only occurred when someone had either said their names to her or that same reoccurring dream would constantly repeat itself at night in her sleep. Which of course, often caused her some trouble when she actually began her “new” training over at Immen Academy when it comes to History and other courses that discuss the issue on the Battle of Oblivion.

During her time at the hospital, the queen had began to grow bored after having been bedridden for a year. When she felt it was time that she go explore, often at times she would be seen sneaking out of the hospital and going to wander the city for at least an hour where she often was found buying clothes at the local shops that barely had any people visiting during the hours on which she had gone. She had used her disguise pen to help her hide her identity, but even the disguise pen had it’s limitations while the queen was still not fully healed. The disguise pen had only lasted for an hour, so she made sure that she was back in her hospital bed before an hour had passed.

She always hid the clothes on which she had bought underneath her bed, where she was lucky enough that the nurse hadn’t looked under her bed when she had to have check ups. It wasn’t until one night she snuck out however, where she found out that Immen Academy had been starting another new year. She found this out of course, after having visited one of the local fast food restaurants after having grown tired of hospital food. This is of course, where she had began to get an idea on how to get out of the hospital. However, even this was rather risky.

During the day, she would often be seen writing down on a piece of paper of what to do for her little disguise when she would actually attend the academy, knowing that she would soon be released. She had often schemed up idea’s for strengths, weaknesses, as well as a “fake” history on which she’d use for herself when she where to go. She was also seen drawing pictures of herself on what she should look like when she would attend the academy. Unfortunately though, most of the designs on which she had created for herself failed when she tried to do her hair the way she wanted as her little crescent mark had always seemed to fail her when making up a disguise as the crescent over the years had began to be more permanent than it had been when she was a teen.

After her final day at the hospital when she where to be released, she was still idealess. Thus, she came up with the only simple thing on which she could actually do to change herself. She had let her hair down from her odango’s, and bought herself some makeup to hide her little crescent. And because of her makeup issue, she had also chosen to write down as yet another weakness of hers to be swimming. She knew that if she where to swim in the water, the makeup would wear off and reveal her little crescent, and that was of course something on which she didn’t want.

When she had actually put on the makeup on her face over her crescent mark however, another major change had taken place. Before her eyes, a new transformation item was seen floating in the air covered in a white aura. The transformation item had been nothing but a small crescent moon discuss. Automatically knowing the words on which she where to say to activate her transformation, she shouted them, and ended up transforming for the first time into Sailor Ma’at.

At the moment she transformed however, she had also noticed a change in the Ginzuishou. The Ginzuishou had appeared to be smaller in size, and gave off a different aura. Thus, she had decided to rename the Ginzuishou for the time being as the “Geneizuishou” which meant “Phantom Crystal” in Japanese.

At the moment she had also done that however, she had also finally came up with a name and a completion for her history. The name which she had chosen was meant to also connect who she previously was, so she chose the name Mitsuko Kougetsu. For her “fake” history, it was rather simple due to the fact that it took her awhile to actually come up with something decent.

To tell those who asked her about her past life on how she became a senshi or things before that, she would often state that she was an only child, and lived in a rather “peaceful” family on which her mother was a house wife while her father being a photographer. Her history was also something on which connected to her past life, due to the occupation’s on which she had chosen for her “fake” parents. However, the only change was that she didn’t have a brother, which seemed to have worked and made it more believable since many by now probably knew of what her actual earth parent’s had done in the past for a living.

For her fake history on transforming, she often said that she had transformed while swimming at the neighborhood lake with some friends, where the lake water had supposedly activated her transformation after having swam in it for awhile. When she had transformed, the lake had fast currents, which forced her friends to get out of the water, only to leave her to complete her transformation. When her transformation ended, she was seen floating above the water in her senshi fuku with an Ice Pink aura circling around her.

This had also caused her friends to be rather frightened, and they ran off because they didn’t know how to properly react. When she landed on the ground after having supposedly “walked” across the water she quickly ran home and rushed through the door where she were to be greeted by her mother, on which was played by Satsuki (Luna in disguise) but with the name of Sayomi Kougetsu.

Of course, “Sayomi” was rather shocked, especially after having told her “husband” Tobikuma Kougetsu about their daughter’s transformation. After a couple of days of being shocked, it didn’t take awhile until the academy had actually found out about her transformation. Whether it be true or not, she was quickly accepted into the academy and began her training there as a student under the disguise name of Mitsuko Kougetsu on where she now hopes to finally be able to meet up with everyone once again.

Connections

Sachiko Nikki/Sailor Qetesh: They met up on their way to the dormitories. Unfortunately though, they hadn't much of a chance to talk, but even from the little conversation on which they had, had she seems to remind her of Minako.

Senka Dusan/Sailor Seth: Bumped into her while on her way to the dorms and offered some assistance to help her find the Chalcedony Dorms.

Khepri Mukantagara/Sailor Sakhment: Bumped into her while being rushed out of the assembly by Marteen. She also noticed Khepri when the security system for the Chalcedony Dorms was smashed.

Circe Burns/Sailor Mentu: Even though she may not be Rei anymore physical wise, Mitsuko still tends to act as she used to around her as a teenager. The two first came across one another in the Chalcedony Dormitories while Mitsuko was trying to find a way to hide her dress, and it was then later agreed that she would hide it in Circe's room.

Marteen Vanhasting/Sailor Inmutef: They first met up in the assembly when Marteen ended up talking about her odango's from the past. Of course, from that little statement she turnede paranoid and began to make it a little more obvious to who she was, and possibly even himself. Though when Marteen had taken her out of the assembly she soon realized who Marteen was from the past. Of course she appeared shocked, but before she could ask anymore questions she was stopped by Circe who had placed her hands over her mouth. Soon after she did that though, she shoved Circe off and revealed Circe's identity to Marteen.
